🌾 Daily Dignity Meal Project

Raining Cloud Trust is honored to present its first flagship initiative — the Daily Dignity Meal Project — a mission to eliminate hunger and restore dignity to the lives of underprivileged communities. Inspired by compassion and fueled by action, this project aims to ensure that no child, elderly person, or vulnerable family sleeps hungry. India continues to witness severe hunger, especially among daily wage workers, street children, the abandoned elderly, and migrant populations. While government schemes do exist, the gap between need and supply still leaves many unserved. Raining Cloud Trust steps in to bridge this gap — one meal, one life, one day at a time.

📌 Project Overview

🎯 Vision & Objective

Our Vision:

To build a hunger-free community where every human — regardless of caste, religion, gender, or location — receives their daily bread with dignity and love.

Our Objective:
To provide a nutritious and hygienic daily meal to the most vulnerable sections of society — especially in slums, under bridges, footpaths, orphan shelters, and rural outposts.

🧒 Who We Serve
  • Street Children: Orphans, runaways, and rag pickers.

  • Elderly Without Support: Abandoned or ill senior citizens living in slums.

  • Daily Wage Workers: Especially those who have lost employment or have no access to food.

  • Rural Poor: Families in tribal or remote villages with no government food access.

  • Physically Challenged Individuals: Those living in isolation or unsupported homes.

🍱 What We Provide
  • A freshly cooked, balanced vegetarian meal containing rice, dal/sambar, one curry or vegetable, and occasionally fruit or sweet.

  • Delivered daily at fixed locations by volunteers and staff.

  • Special meals on festivals, national holidays, and Sunday feasts.

  • Water, fruit or ORS pouches during summer or illness-prone seasons.

“Feeding with Honor. Serving with Purpose.”
